Turning Off Remote Access On Router

    There doesnt seem to be a option to make it listen on any other port. Or to switch it off

    What happens if you configure remote management only to be allowed from the static I.P of your web server? If you access remote management from another PC it should reject the remote management request and hopefully use the port forwarding rule instead.

    So the web server only works when you use http://192.168.2.32:80 as the URL?

    Hmm, as already suggested it might be worth sending an email to Belkin Tech Support, they must have seen this problem before. 8)

    Belkin Have excellent support they have there own online chat room so you can speak to a operater 24/7. And my problem was fixed

    Right the fix was to connect to the router via telnet then use that to disable a few files that the router uses. Cant remember the exact files now but ill find out
