Does anyone remember or even played Need for Speed?

There's been so many in the series, but the latest one is more like a mini TV series like a cross between GTA and Fast N Furious. Unlike Need For Speed Wanted the cut scenes used are real footage and not CGI!

I can't help thinking they Game Developers seem to be stepping away from just playing the game for a bit of fun to brainwashing the player that they are some type of street criminal and it's OK to blow someone away with a colt 45!

I could never get into need for speed, I think sometimes companies/developers just decide to carry on a successful title with more titles of the same game or they can't think of anything original to make.

Anyway I prefer blowing people away with colt 45s or whatever, it's more fun.

 

I used to love Need for Speed games! I didn't play the originals very much but I thought that Underground was awesome (it went downhill from there)

I am going to get it once I have built my new computer I am waiting for the new call of duty game which looks good too.

Are a bit naff on graphics but the game play was still fun, although you didn't have police chasing after you untill NFS3. I think EA is forgetting that its ment to be a car racing game I've heard/read on forums most people prefer test drive unlimited to NFS carbon and pro street.

nah it's COD5 so it'll be good and there's a lot more to it this time
