    Hi Guys,

I have just come accross the site this morning and found some really helpful and interesting topics on the forum.
I am currently working my through the Comptia A+ and should be ready to take the 2 exams shortly. I am then going to work towards my Network+ qualification.
My short term job plan is to get into a Remote Desktop Support position but I have noticed a lot of the positions require you to have knowledge of Windows 2003, Active Directory and MS Exchange which neither of these 2 qualifications cover.
Is there a further qualification I should consider taking which will cover these areas?

Thanks in advance for any help,
    Dan :)

Hi, to be honest those subjects are deep and are only covered properly depending on what path your IT career takes you in and what courses and exams you personally decide to take.

You should really be looking at MCDST, then MCSA, then MCSE which are two, four and seven exams respectively.

Studying for these should go hand in hand with your everyday working practices, especially the MCSE as the topics covered in the latter stages are very specific and specialise on a particular Microsoft technology.

So, my specialisation if you like was with Active Directory design and Microsoft ISA server. Even as an MCSE my knowledge of Exchange is limited to say the least. So, what theses people are asking is bordering on being naive and a tad insulting.
