Woohoo Top Gear is back for a new series on Sunday on BBC2 in its usual slot

I love that show, good to hear that's coming back even though in canada it might air at a later date.

 

I wonder if the SSC Aero Ultimate will feature on the new series after Mr. Clarkson announced he thought it was going to be rubbish.

For those who are not familiar with it, the SSC Aero Ultimate is the new official fastest production road car in the world clocking up a staggering 257mph!

It acheived a stable 273mph in a NASA wind tunnel test but they were unable to recreate the same speed for the record run because they (and I quote) "ran out of road". Apparently when the offical speed was recorded, the feedback from the car showed the driver had the accelerator pedal pressed down at 51%!!! STAGGERING STUFF!!

 

cool, I still want an M3 but doubt it'll ever happen
