The man who brought us in the UK Vision On and Take Hart is dead. I am gutted...

I grew up trying to emulate what this guy showed us on TV. I wish I had half his talent. :(

    Read about him here...

We used to like the art gallery bit in my family, we would win a point if the age of the child whose picture was shown matched our own. Sad i know but then games consoles back then were not really much of an option.

Seemed like a nice guy, shame hes gone.

I drew a couple of pictures when I was a kid that I sent in; hoping to see them in The Gallery or somewhere on his show. Never did get one on the telly. I think he inspired a great many youngsters of that era to try their hand at drawing and painting.

Morph and tony hart bring back many mermories as a kid watching his shows:)

Its strange, as I was watching some Tv outakes show with Anne Robinson, around 6pm tonight shortly before I came to work, and he was on one of the clips.

My wife remarked, "god ive not seen him for ages" and I replied, "neither have I, Im not actually sure if he is still alive........"

Came to work, read the general google news...............a bit errie to say the least

Anyhow RIP Tony Hart, thankyou for the childhood memories and may you bring the colour into the next life, as you did into many of our young lifes:)

I remember as a kid leaping to the TV as my mom called me to watch Tony Hart and Morph. We used to sit together amazed at his talents.

RIP Tony Hart. Sadly missed. :(
