I recently took the excel expert exam and I found that the time I was allotted to complete the tasks were insufficient for that type of exam. I only had 50 minutes. I noticed that on the Microsoft learning site it gives the typical time for a Microsoft Office Specialist exam as 90 minutes. I've never been allotted 90 minutes for any exam. So my questions are: what is the general time for a exam and was it sufficient for the type of tasks that were being asked to be completed on the exam?

P.S. I did pass my exams but I didn't pass as well as I could have.

Generally its 90 minutes for MS professional exams. Often I'm finished in under an hour.

Some betas I've sat were 4 hours and there was still not enough time, as they give you 400+ questions.

Thankh you for replying. Microsoft also said 90 minutes but Certiport has "guaranteed" that Microsoft is wrong.

Really? Then my question is still why is the typical time allowed for MOS exams given as being 90 minutes on the Microsoft learning website if that is not the case? Please review Microsoft Learning Website for MOS exams.
    Thankh you.
