Well I've decided to stop studying on the MCDST for now. We finally have a set date to move back to the states, which means I really need to be concentrating on a) the move and all things related, b) working on school, and c) my wife and kids who at times can suffer due to too much work involved with studying for both school and certs.

Hopefully as soon as I have a job and we are settled in the states, I can pick it up again and try to knock it out. At least when I'm working I'll get OJT which should supplement what I am learning in the books and make the studying go quicker.

Sounds like a good idea to me, goodluck with the move !

 

That sounds like the best way forward for you at the moment. Something has to give and the MCDST is the least important.
