This the correct meyers edition for 2007 exams ?

Just double checking that this edition of the meyers book is the right one if I am studying for the new 2007 A+ exams ?

Got a birthday coming up and was trying to find the cheapest place to get the book, but confused because last time i checked amazon they didn't have the latest edition so just making sure.

It certainly looks like the latest edition, as it covers the new A+ exams and is the sixth edition.

I thought it was the correct revision number but the description and the picture are showing the wrong version - they still refer to the old exams (OS and hardware).

You need the version that refers to the new exams - essentials, technician etc.

I am more of a Sybex fan than the Meyer's books so hopefully somone here who has used the Meyers A+ book can chime in and tell you exactly which revision of the book you need.

 

Thanks chrism, I should of searched about here first, it is the correct revision, the 6th, but yeah thats what also confused me the picture and description are the same as the 5th revision edition.

Also, it is cheaper than the 5th revision edition on there

This book actually refers to the 2003 Exam objectives and would therefore not help you with any of the new objectives

The one you linked on Amazon is the same as This One. The Sixth Edition, which does cover the new A+ exams (220-602, 220-603, and 220-604).

That link is from Total Seminars, which is Mike Meyers company, so you would think they would know ...

p.s. I checked the ISBN's and they are both the same ..

It's the 6th edition that you want. It covers the 220-601, 602, 603 and 604 exams. I got it last month I think, it's a really really really good book.
