I've always been of the opinion that there is something wrong with the name of this vendor. And I've finally found out the truth: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisco_(fish) . In this connection the saying "Fish goes rotten by the head" accepts unexpectedly direct meaning...

I just wonder if it is Huawei that bred this kind of fish?.. And what kind of answer will follow?..

Cisco isn't actually named after this fish, it's San FranCISCO, as far as i'm aware.

 

"Microsoft" sounds like a bad porn star.

Lotus is named after a genus of plant.

 

Corel is only one letter different from Coral. Concidence? With other compelling fish related evidence, I think not!!!

But actually what I mean is that names (i.e. Cisco Systems is officially said to be named after San Francisco) may sometimes refer to something quite different.

You can see this beautiful girl on the start page of the Cisco Systems site. Just have a look at her left eye. I'm wondering what happened to the eye and if this is a real black eye or just a blunder of a graphic designer.

Anyway, this picture seems to be in a full accordance with the slogan: "...network is changing the way we live".
