What does everyone think the future of technology, IT and entertainment will be?

I see the day when you switch on screen (using a very simple GUi)in your living room select what want to do i.e watch a film by streaming or downloading. (I know this sort of happens now)

You surf the net with limitless speeds

you program almost everything in your house to what you want when you want i.e program the music system or tv to come on when you enter a room.

Mobile/cell phones will become so small that it become just an ear peice

There will be no needs for recordable devices such as dvds as whatever you want to watch will be available indefinetly

There will be no need for sattelite tv as everyone will have cable & I mean super duper fast cable.

A system similar to SKYPE that actually works well

There will be anything available at the touch of a button

Everything in your home will be controlled by super computer from water and lighting to games and films.

These are just a few of my expectations for 20 years time or am I just being a bit star trekkie btw I do think something like the holodeck will be possible in 50 years time

    what does anyone else think?
