I'm trying not to let too much of the hype ruin it for me. It looks like a great movie and I've been looking forward to it since seeing the first trailer in the theaters last year. And, it'll be playing in IMAX, which should make for an even better experience.

I am with you Josh. I told Joe lastnight. By the time they get done showing all the commericals we will have basicly seen the whole thing. They did the same thing with man in black and I was very disappointed by the time I did get to see it.

LMAO Ryan, wait till the newest greatest next game comes out at christmas time and you have to sit in line at a walmart for 2 days in the snow hoping to be one of the lucky ones to get 1 of the 20 games they have in stock only to succed to get robbed in the parking lot on the way back to your car with your well earned game.

Welcome to America my friend. :biggrin

    For sure
I've been cruising around looking for a shop that actually has the new iPhone in stock, Idaho has no Apple store so its all down to the crappy AT&T shops who never have any in stock
Every apple shop I know has hundreds in stock every day, but the closest one is Portland, and whilst I was there this weekend I couldn't see my friends lining up with me for hours for a phone!
I lined up for no more than 20 mins in the UK for mine, but there are still lines a week after launch over here, its crazy, JUST STOCK MORE FFS!

Just need to keep pestering AT&T lol

I cannot wait, Batman Begins was easily the best Batman Movie so far, although Heath Ledger is gonna have to go some way to beat Jack Nicholson as the joker.....

I think heath is up to it. He was a very good actor that knew how to become the
    part.

You guys have some really strange sayings. No, no, please don't explain that one to me.

I agree, I thought Jack Nicholson nail the part of the Joker!! I have seen the trailer of the dark night and to be honest I don't think Heath portrays the joker as good as Jack!8)

Why is it they have gone down this road anyway? Re-inventing batman and the characters??? I thougt Tim Burtons adaption of Batman and his world was spot on to how it it is portray in the comics!8)

The new movies are pretty spot on to Frank Miller's vision of Batman the obsessed vigilante, "The Dark Knight"

When I saw Tim Burton's "Batman" in the theatre in 1989, I have to admit that I was disappointed. While both Keaton and Nicholson are great actors in their own right, I didn't feel like the "real" Batman was portrayed. Of course, I'd been reading comic books for 25 years before the movie came out, so my expectations were rather high.

Until "Batman Begins" was released, I felt that the WB Batman Animated Series was just about the best version of Batman around. Christian Bale nailed both Bruce Wayne and Batman cold (no other actor has really done justice to both "roles" in the past, in my opinion). Gary Oldman as the "young" Jim Gordon was intriguing (and reading "graphic novels" such as "Batman: Year One", I really appreciated the work he did.

I have to say I'm looking forward to the "Dark Knight". I've read a couple of the reviews and the differences between this movie and "Batman Begins" are as compelling as what will be the same. Ledger's "Joker" is supposed to be the highlight of the film. Most people don't realize just how truly dangerous and scary the character of the Joker really is. He really is the opposite number to Batman and the one foe that (if anyone could) was/is capable of killing Batman.

I'm looking forward to this one.

i agree on all counts with you there, tripwire. when christian bale does the line 'im batman' in batman begins it scared the living c**p out of me. it was awesome. and the new movie looks already set to be part of my top ten. we'll see. i missed out on watching it last night due to stupidity (i forgot to take my housekey to work) but this weekend i'm definitely going to get down and watch it.
