Good luck just remember left foot accelerator right foot brake, and they love it if you start fiddling with the radio half way through because it shows you can multitask! ;-)

Cant remember if I said this before, but it astounds me that I am able to study actual exam questions for the theory test (using an officially sanctioned book). A test where I could wind up killing someone is ok to use actual questions, but not one that doesnt really cover life threatening actions (much)

 

Aslong as you don't get an X or a D on your score sheet then you will be fine.

Was the X a Serious Fault?

I really can't remember...

 

Three categories are minor, serious, and dangerous.

Serious and Dangerous are instant fails, minors you are permitted around 15 of them.

 

I meant the specifics. What is X on the pass sheet?

Yeah, it's been a while. Failed a few times before eventually passing with 3 minors about a year ago.

ah. no idea. this is my first test. Would assume its a Serious though.

 

Very much doubt you'll get parallel parking.

You generally get bay-parking if you're the last out of the car park.

Turn in the road and reverse around a corner are favourites (for the latter remember to do a full 360 at the point of turning).

Don't hit anyone (just kidding). I still marvel that I live in the same community as Phoenix, who has barely had his license for a year, and he hasn't hit me yet.

 

X is total failure to adhere to proper practices of whatever that manouver is.

D is Dangerous which is where the instructor will make you stop the vehicle and get out and walk back to the test center as the instructor feels you are not safe to be in a motor vehicle.

As for / minor faults when I took the test it was 12 of them that was allowed if you ended up with 13 then that would consitute an X on the 13th /

also 3 minors for the same catergory is a fail, i.e. if you get marked down 3x for failing to check mirrors
