I believe "Ms." is the preferred title to address a woman without referencing marital status. In fact, in a business letter or similar communication, I would never use "Mrs." or "Miss". I can't remember the last time I saw those titles in a business communication.

    Ms is safe :)

You could call the company or check their website, just to see if that info is readily available?

Just don't address her as 'lady Bitchness'

(sorry been watching too much Bottom recently.)

Don't think that would go down to well.

Just spoke to a mate he has made one big cockup applying for a job, he was doing an email to his bird and applying for a job by email at the same time.

The job email went Hiya darling I'm interested in the position you have at the local sorting office can you send me some details on what the position entails.

The message to his bird went Dear Mr Simons when we get to the hotel we can have a shower the go down for some scones and tea before going to the beachfront.

Ha ha it did make me chuckle

I wonder if he will get the job :tune

Me personally, I address the person Mr, Mrs, Miss, Ms only if they state their title. I do this as I remember being told by a woman who was interviewing me said to me that she wasn't a "Ms" but a "Mrs".
