mate u know u could come into london and out again easier and quicker than going direct?
a lot of us did suggest london, its just as easy to get to for anyone whos not driving as all roads lead to london really,

it would likely require a bit more planning, maybe the one after :D

Ryan has hit the nail on the head there. Birmingham was suggested again because we have been there before and know what were going to get. London would take a would lot more planning, but its a choice for the one after this one! 8)

It makes sense to go there again like ya say. Worth pointing out that the train tickets are cheap now if ya getting booked.

We need to confirm names and numbers, and check that we can get into the restaurant before booking the train mate! :biggrin

I think that we'll keep this open for a week or so longer, and then if you're definately wanting to come ask for PM's to confirm numbers and make some bookings. 8)

    I'll go anywhere, within reason.

London, I'd like a lot of notice. I've driven there a bunch of times, around Liverpool St Station area - and IME, it's a bugger to get there, no matter how *many* roads lead in. After the Luton expansion, it's just wall-to-wall traffic once you get into the capital.

So I'll get the train :p

    Thats not suprising Arroryn
Liverpool Street is in the heart of the city, its not really drivers heaven! :)

That said, i was assuming most folks would of been training it due to the drinking involved ;)

It may be. Hopefully by the end of next week we can get some confirmed idea of numbers and I'll see what they can do for us.

Ok guy's I just got of the phone to someone at the holiday inn. (At least she said she was at 'that' holiday inn!)

Basicaly they have told me that they won't offer us a discount unless we take at least 20 rooms, which in all reality probably isn't going to happen. :(

So by all means feel free to book your own accomodation, either at the Holiday Inn Express, or elsewhere.

    Now, the restaurant........

£62! Ive just booked mine £49 for a standard room. I used a form that i got from there last time, i think it might have a different website on it. You select the leisure option for the room. Heres the link if anyone wants it.
    www.hiexpress.co.uk/hotel
Just select birmingham and then select the hotel on Lionell street

If the leisure saver option isnt there then there might be an option for a discount code or something the code is "leisure saver" or you can ring 08704008888 and quote that
