Went to an interview last week. :D Went well.

Had a letter this morning to say i didn't get the post. I e-mailed the IT manager straight away to offer my services for 1 day a week, voluntary.
    I'll keep you posted.

That's an excellent idea. It's always a good idea to pester them a bit, at least then your name sticks in their minds.
Sadly though, I'd be surprised if they take you up on the offer.
There would be loads of problems with insurance, liability and indemnity etc.
Having said that, it would be great if you did get the chance.

Well done though, every interview is experience and it sounds like you came through it really well.

Well Boyce, you'll get your IT job soon...and you know what? When you do get it you'll be saying to yourself "I'm glad I didn't get that other job!"...

Most of the time things happen for a reason or for the best! If you keep that in mind then you'll land a cracking IT job!

    catch you later m8!

Thanks for all the confidence everyone, it makes a difference!

Weemez- The biggest problem i have with the NHS is trying to get hold of someone! If i could only get hold of the IT managers e-mail!

As luck would have it today i had two tickles!

I had a reply about the voluntary work from the "failed" interview. The IT manager is waiting for confirmation from HR !

Plus, i had a phone call about another job i applied for saying "do i still want it", they will contact me shortly about a possible interview!

Fingers crossed guys, something tells me that i am getting closer. :unsure
