    Hey

    I'm using Testout www.testout.com to study for my first exam towards my MCSA (70-290)

    Has anyone used this or know if its any good?

    according to certgaurd they are not a braindump but I can't tell you if they are any good.

    Not used them either, but looking over website they dont look bad to me! :)

    I believe Testout are the exam sims that come bundled with some of the MS Press books (in a cut down form). They certainly come with some of the MOC books we use where I teach the MCDST.

    I have found them to be generally ok, not as tough as Transcender questions and not always checked as well for mistakes.

    Thanks for all your help! I am studying my MCSA and am currently preparing 70-290, which is my first exam.

    I've heard from other ppl its hard so I wanna get all the help i can.

    I'm using the very same 70-290
    Start There a bloke talking on subject then desktop view demo on same subject then ExamSim

    I find the subjects Facts at end of each topic to the point.

    One persons hard is another's easy so I wouldn't let other people saying it's hard get you into that mindset. Yes there is a wide range of topics to be covered on the 70-290 so you do need to know your stuff.

    Hands on experience with server 2003 is fairly essential to be honest. Yes it can be studied for without prior experience, but it's not the way it's meant or recommended to be done.
