    Hi All

I am going to setup a test lab prior to an Exchange upgrade at work

Currently running Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2000 AD Domain

My lab will consist of 1 windows 2000 domain controller and 1 windows 2000 server with Exchange 2000 installed on it

also 1 winxp client for testing email and such

I hope to upgrade my Exchange server to 2003 and then upgrade the server to Server 2003 and if that goes to plan the rest of the 2000 servers will follow

Anybody want to throw any suggestions / advice into the ring ?

    cheers
    Mick

I'm sure I read somewhere a while back that exchange 2003 works better if you upgrade the OS to 2003 before installing it. :dry

Fairly certain that if you have Exchange 2000 on a Windows 2000 Server you need to install Exchange 2003 first then upgrade to Windows 2003 Server as you need to do the domain and forest prep for exchange first then when you install the server upgrade you run the server domain and forest prep

If you already have Ex2000 on Win2000 you MUST upgrade Ex2000 first as Ex2000 does not run on Win2003
