Supposed to have my 602 exam today at 12:30. When i got there they told me it was closed.
Rang pearsonvue asked them what was going on, they told me they closed all test centers in birmingham. and the nearest one is in coventry

was hoping to be A+ certified today. but nevermind **** happens

Blimey. That's a bit of a kick in the teeth. I assume they are just going to re-issue your exam voucher so you can take it elsewhere.

Really sorry to hear about that, exams aren't really the sort of thing you can just go "oh well, I can take it another day", might have been nice of them to warn you.

Wow you guys are lenient!! I gotta admit I'd go nuts over this. The way I see it you're basically buying a service from a company so for you not to be notified of a rather drastic change is really beyond belief!!

just logged onto to reschedule, and its been put down as CANCELLED and i cannot change this online - i have to give them a bell!
One thinks, an ear full aswell!

Anyone have any news regarding these centres closing down?!!

I'm in a simlilar position to you jk2447! Nearest centre is now wigan and availibilty for May is very sparce..

Software generation in liverpool was an excellent place to sit exams, always seemed to be very busy too..

will give all 3 merseyside centres a call tomorrow and try n find out whats going.. any official comment from Prometric yet??

 

OMG the exact same thign happend to me yesterday, only I was with prometric - where you in that centre tower building? 10th floor? I was well annoyed when they said they phoned me the day before about it, which they didnt grrr

Is anyone else having this BS?

 

Firstly, that's bad luck for you. As i think somebody else said on here, an exam isnt really something you want to be saying "oh well, i will come back another day", quite apart from the fact that you have been greatly inconvenienced!

Secondly, Prometric's handling of this situation doesnt seem great.

Worryingly, this seems to be more widespread than it at first seemed. Hopefully this will get resolved quickly and properly.

I have my 70-270 on 5th June - lets see if i can get in the Test Centre!

btw - those of you that are struggling to find test centres in the north west - there are a couple in Manchester that may be able to help if thats any good? let me know and i can give you the details.

there is only 1 within Birmingham, and the are a few more scattered outside. been trying to get this off my back since Feb this year!
