    The Ultimate Tech Resource

I have found this to be the most invaluable tool in an IT persons repetoire - regardless of if you are a programmer, frontline, or thirdline.

    Congrats on the job

lol. He already mentioned that wonderful resource.

It depends what resource you need - what users are asking for, and what you need to know.

There is, of course, that other great tech resource:

    www.wikipedia.org

Others I also frequently use are:

    www.dnsstuff.com

    http://filext.com

    http://support.microsoft.com

I also keep links to the knowledge bases for the vendors we frequently use - HP for printers (their support comes well recommended) and Toshiba. And Dell. I always try their website support before running the gauntlet of calling their helpdesk.
