    Hi All

I am studying for my MCITP Enterprise Admin and my current module is 70-640.

I am using VM Ware to run Server 2008 and also need to run several copies (up to 7 according to the MS Press book!) of Vista to create a virtual network.

If I get a technet subscription am I able to run several copies of the same OS virtually? As my course will last another year or so I really do not need the added time constraints of a re-install every time WPA is required.

    Many thanks

    JD

You get 10 activations of Vista.

Where does it say you have to run 7 copies of Vista btw? :blink

    Thanks Sparky

Sorry - it doesn't actually say which OS's just states that you will need to run up to 7 machines in a VM Network to complete some of the practices. My mistake!

Am I right in saying that you also get similar numbers if activations of other OS's with the subscription?

Yeah, the key for Server 2008 is listed as MAK (multiple activation key) so you can install it more than once.
