    Hi people

I have a friends dad who wants me to set up a wireless router instead of their talk talk router, should this just be a straight swap or would i have to but a certain router.??

As far as I know, you just need to select the network, enter your account details and it's ready to go - I've not heard of any particular problems with Talk Talk and use of other routers (plenty of other problems, though!)

Needs to be an ADSL router and also you may need the username and password for the talk talk account.

Or leave that router in place and install a wireless AP (access point).

The username for a TT account is usually the customers phone number. Both the username & password are on the joining letter that they will have received.
