    Ok guys, couple of questions :

    1) anyone used or using a tablet laptop/notebook by which I mean one where the screen flips back over and sits over the keyboard so you use a stylus on the screen ?

    2) if yes to above - any experience of the older models (i.e. something I can pick up on Ebay (watching a few at the moment)

    3) Is Windows Xp Tablet edition 2005 still available on Technet ? (seem to have lost a Partner disk I had a few years back)

    4) Does Win Vista/7 fully support tablets automatically ?

    Yes.

    I used the older Toshiba Tecra's and the Portege's - they're ok.

    Not sure, in my MS Licensing/Software assurance, it's not there. Neither is it in the action pack.

    It looks like only Home Premuim and above supports "tablet" features, see here.

    Just a quick update on this. Managed to grab myself an HP TC4200 off Ebay for just over £150 squids.

    Awaiting delivery and then I can annoy all of my students by having everything to hand :p
