    know the ALL the IRQs, DMAs, SCSI tables... the different hard drive formats...

    Make sure you have the latest objectives from Comptia and review them and add some key notes to any weak areas.

    It's a different test for every candidate really,so it's difficult to point you toward a paticular subject.As already advised,know your IRQ's,DMA's,I/O's and the particulars for SCSI,\CPU specifics and HDD technologies.I had a lot of emphasis on networking technologies on my core exam and even more on my OS exam,but again this may not be the case for you.
