Just wanted to know when this last line of examinations for A+ will last, because I will like to take it sometime spring next year in 2009.

Also can I study for MCP exams after I pass Comptia A+?

There is no time limit, it will take you as long as it takes you.

And yes you can do an MCP if you want.

Not exactly. If you take the current version of A+ Essentials, you will have to take the current version of an A+ elective exam (such as A+ IT Technician). These exams were recently updated in late 2006, and although CompTIA can release a new one at anytime, I don't anticipate them doing so before 2010. At worst, they'd release the new exams in late 2009, and not retire the current (2006) exams until sometime in 2010.
