Im curious how everyone stores the certificates and such they get from courses.

I got a laminator a few days ago and ive been doing pretty much all my stuff in it ... also did some page 3 girls and some junk mail too... but hey its fun.

Anywho ive decided that its a good idea to laminate all my certificates to protect them from getting screwed up by people handling them. I used to simply store my stuff inside a folder with a plastic sleeve (until i left it on the side, and some idiot decided it would be a good idea to put a 2 year old next to my stuff with a carton of ribeena) the only draw back ive heard about this is that getting a photocopy from laminated material is a pain.

So just how exactly coes everyone store and prevent their certificates whilst at home / for presenting at job applications and such.

I got one of those plastic folder things that has pages which are transparent like poly-pockets. You can put all your certificates in there so they are all in one place and easy to view. I wouldn't necessarily have thought that you would actually need to take them to an interview or anything, but it's useful to be able to remember the dates.
And it makes me feel clever...

Damn i never took any special care for my certificates, ive never been asked for them
Cant say i could even tell you where my original MCSEs are
ofcourse MS will send me a new one if i need one lol

My cisco ones are all lieing around in the little folders they came in
perhaps I should tidy them up sometime lol

I did get asked for them for my MSc apllication, but it seemed a transcript was eqaually acceptable, and i can print them out willy nilly

My wife thinks that I'm weird when she sees me looking through my folder of certificates.
She doesn't realise that sometimes we need a bit of reassurance in our own abilites.

I laminate all my certificates including my GCSE's and Degree certs. The problem is the American's use a different bloody size to use for paper and my laminator pouches aren't wide enough so I have to trim my certs. :x

Same here, ive started laminating EVERYTHING, apparently theres these "Rexcell" wallets, well thats phonetic (i dont know the actual spelling) that are like extra wide folders that specifically take laminated sheets of paper, they are supposed to be reinforeced with cardboard each page too ... like a display wallet, im gonna have to get one of those.

Office world and places like staples sell them apparently, if anyones got one or seen them lemme know.

I do recall being able to buy US sized laminates over here in places like staples, being the majority if business has to deal with US correspondance :)
