Does anyone know of a tool/app that can measure the speed of a network connection?

I just got an adsl connection and want to find the 'real' speed of the connection.

    Hi Nugg,

Hop along to ADSL Guide - where you'll find an online speed test. We use that test for Users at work.

    Needs Java installed though.

    HTH :D
