Hello anyone,

I've just this second registered as a new member, so looking for friends.

I have two important questions regarding anyone who uses Sony Vegas to
edit their video capture!

Will deal with the most important one first.

When capturing a still from video, the image loses quality at once despite changing
its file format. This accounts for high quality dedicated digital stills too! Why does
Vegas do this and why does the quality of the imported footage from the project media
tab to thetimeline deterioate drastically?

Anyone able to help please?
