Looks like I overpaid tax by a horrendous amount last year, so in a months time I will be getting a refund...

This means I will have the money to do that intensive driving course I want to do meaning several good possibilities when it comes to getting a job.

Pity I have to wait a month, but its a great start to 2009!

Well looking at the cost, lessons could come to around 6-700 then another 100 or so on the exams.

Whatevers left is going towards paying off my last debt, so guess none of this will be fun money lol

But...

The downside is that your £1300 is worth less then it was when they took it off you and they have also got to keep the interest too.

 

It's nice when you get a cheque back from the tax man!

The upside is that I could have invested that 1300 quid in Woolworths

 

Something I was considering before losing my job, so will probably upgrade next year at some point, when my finances are healthier lol
