software trouble shooting tools

    hi gals and guys

    was wondering what software applications you use for trouble shooting networks and or the pc itself
     
    Certifications: C&G level 2, ECDL, IC3, MOS

    Sysinternals have a lot of good tools (MS have bought them out now if I remember rightly), as does the windows admin tools package included with the OS's themselves....

    A little more detail would be required to get specific really, as there are different tools to do different jobs, much like in the real world really...i.e. you would use a screwdriver to cut something in half etc.

    Hi,
    as above-Winternals ERD, UBCDWIN, Norton Sys Wks, Google some terms-Software repair etc and make a list, then try to get reviews from here or there.. Good luck.
