I am writing the software exam this week(I failed the exam once previously).

I have already passed the hardware exam so it would
be a great accomplishment to me if I were to pass the
software exam as well.

I am glad to be a member of these forums.

I am writing the software exam tomorrow morning.
Hopefully, I will pass the exam this time.

Does anyone have any study suggestions that helped
them prepare for the software
exam?

In particular, how did you study the night before
the exam?

Any suggestions would be appreciated please!

 

The way that works for me is to have a scan through any notes the night before, trying to remember key facts. On the morning of the exam I do no study at all. If I don't know it by then, then I'm not gona be able to learn it, and will only end up confusing myself.

 

Lightly. At this stage of the game, you either know the material or not. An extra night's cramming isn't going to drill anything significant into your brain at the last second. What you want to do now is just keep what you do know fresh in your mind. Overstudying and staying up half the night will just exhaust you and you'll be wiped out by the time you make it to the testing center.

Just keep hitting the high points. Try not to stay up too late and yes, get a good breakfast before the test. You don't want your blood sugar crashing right in the middle of the exam.

You're going to be kind of nervous but that's expected. I'm always really keyed up right before the exam but once it starts, I settle down (mostly) and just try to do my best. I get really keyed up right before hitting the completion button that will display my score.
