I am new in the software field and I want to read XML from a file by using Visual C# .NET . Please provide a solution for this and also provide me the list of software development companies specialises in the development of custom software applications which deals with custom programming, database design, client-server and internet/intranet software application development on all platforms including windows, Linux, Mac.

The first part of your question reads like a task assignment, or a test question. If it is don't expect people here to provide answers. You are supposed to do this yourself!

Best is to show us what you have managed so far and ask for help for the parts that aren't working.

The second part is quite a tall order to be asking for on a first post! What is wrong with Google?

When i program I use a special peice of software called Google, think of it as a better MSDN library where all you have to do is type in what you want to do and it will search the tinternet for an answer.

Pros:
You dont have to wait on people replying

Cons:
None
