Well, I got to work about 15 minutes ago for my 6 - 2 shift. I find it unnerringly depresseing that there are people still partying in the bar I usually like going to :(

Ah well. Back to the joys of PC builds :biggrin

Spending time with the wife and kids, as they'll be gone to New Mexico by this time next week. Gonna be sad to see them go. :(

Some places have 24 hour licenses.

The place next door does this thing, only on a Saturday night. It opens from around midday Saturday and closes around midnight. Then it reopens for a party thinger from 1am til 6 or 7. I go there for a drink most Fridays after work; have never been on the all nighter thing there though.

Keep it up! It is a great feeling! Sounds like you'll be ready for a race in no time!!

If you haven't raced before, i'd suggest doing something like a 5 or 10k first - there's loads of charity ones accross the country this summer.

I did the "Nike half" a couple of years ago, and that was a great atmosphere - did ok for a first half marathon, but it wasn't anything worth mentioning (lol)...and I intend to do at least one this year...also used to run for county, was school champ blah blah blah etc in my teenage years

WD. isn't it funny how some days it's really easy and you could keep on going, but others you just can't physically do it (even if you're raring to go mentally!)

    Good luck with it all!

Where abouts are you with LOST? Got a bit bored with it - too many openings...but really enjoyed this weeks episode on Sky - the one with the hut...and the flash back to jonathan's childhood was weird - weren't all the bits things that have been on the island at some point - eg the magazine the like the one that Michael's son (or someone) was reading at the beginning of series one?...

Got any ideas on wtf is going on yet?

Hope 290 night wasn't too bad!

A little late to the party, but my wife and I drove down to Somerset at the weekend (stopped at Stonehenge en route). We went down for the MX5 owners club Spring Rally. Was the first time we have been to something like this. Was quite good fun and very well attended. They had about 600 MX5's there which is more than they expected for the smaller of the two yearly rallies.

The event was hosted at the Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford which is a great place to visit if you are a petrol head. They have the largest collection of working classic cars in the UK. Even though I loved seeing some of the more exotic supercars they had there like the Lamborghini Countach and the Jag XJ220 the most impressive ones where a couple of old American Duesenberg's from the 30's. They were in immaculate condition and looked pretty amazing.

Watched the season finale of House with my parents (Mom's a fan...Dad tolerated it). They left this morning, so we're rapidly getting back to "normal". I think I even got enough sleep last night (we'll see as the day wears on). Off to work now.

Thanks Leehaa. School champ! Its good that you kept running, most things from the teenage years get left behind as you hit your 20s.
