Yes I did. Bloody credit card companies, I'm dealing in cool hard cash in future or using a debit card which they cant monkey around with

 

At least there is some good news, one the money grabbing barstewards agreed to my offer of a £1 a month token payment, sending the standing order form off in the morning

 

Well i might be on the dole, but all my debt got cleared when i rennovated and sold a house on. I was well screwed before that tho.

 

There are no debts when theres beer!!!!!!!!!!!! And birds!!

OI! I thought you were married (or as near as dammit anyway)

On the subject of debt - I've been completely debt free since I got married (unless you count the sodding mortgage). When I grew up we didn't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. As soon as I got money of my own I spent every single penny of it - usually within days of being paid. As a result I ended up in debt - not a massive amount, but enough to make me realise I was just overcompensating for not having sod all when i was a kid - so I made a conscious decision to get debt-free and have never looked back.

It can be done peeps!
