I am hoping I have enough spare cash in March to take both A+ exams or in April at the latest, but I have just done a practice exam after not doing any for while now and I only got 77% on the Essentials exam which is still a pass I know but should I be worrying since the score wasn't that high?

I know a pass is a pass but I would like to pass with a reasonable score.

Its fair enough to aim for a pass with a high score but the criteria is to get over certain score (700 is it for the A+?, can’t remember) so that’s what you should aim for. As long as you are still in the passing range of points then it’s all good.

Test questions are great but obviously they don’t compare the real exam, it’s a completely different when it comes to doing it for real.

You should be fine with the amount of work you have put in so far mate so try not to stress. 8)

Yup, if it helps Im doing the same with the 70-297. Studying has been all over the place, out of hours work and long hours are getting in the way. I have started over with a new book (Sybex) and will use that with the MS Press book.

It's not a disasterous score, you might just need to do a refresh read and it will probably all just flow back, and so will your confidents I don't think you need to be to worried about it. GL mate

I don't seem to have any time at the moment which is annoying. When I am not at work in week I am in bed and at the weekend I am too kanckered.

I am working double shifts at the moment but its going to stop in mid March so hopefully I can get some proper revision done.

Know what you mean mate, I was up till 2am last night fixing an Exchange server and had to be at the customer site for 8am to fix a few desktop issues, we seem to be short staffed just now!

I have actually set aside Sunday afternoons as study time just so I don’t let this exam drag on for months. Saturday aint an option (boozing) and neither is Sunday morning (hangover), so Sunday afternoon should be fine! :biggrin

My works just taking the piss at the moment just because I am the only one who can do my job without having to think about it.

Take Thursday nights for instance I finish at 2am drive home for half hour then I am back in at 12 noon on Friday till 5 after that all I want is a curry and copious amounts of Alcohol but I am in at 6am this Saturday so the beer will have to wait till Saturday night.

This is why we take notes green so we can go back over things to keep them fresh in our mind without having to read the whole book! Highlight in the book as you read, then write those highlight down after each chapter. Jeesh dude I thought I have trained you better then this! :x
