Hi all just a quicky for all you long termers out there, How do you reccomend woking through the various requirements, is it better to tackle each element, that is hardware and software separately as complete units or to mix both together? I ask because i've got various materials available and they all seem to tackle it in differing ways........ Ta Muchly

I personally did each exam separately, as it was my first IT cert as a newb, and was taking no risks. It's great having multiple resources, as long as you focus on the topic in hand. I'm not saying this is how you should do it, but it worked for me. The resources will keep, after all :)

I did A+ as slightly separate exams, as they were my first as well.

However, there is considerable overlap in A+, and it wasn't at all clear from the books as to which part was included in which exam.

So don't get it too compartmentalized!
