Ive got an assignment thats overdue but i have an extension in places etc. I have to choose 4 operating systems with one being


1. Desktop systems
2. Distributed systems
3. Real-time systems
4. Multiprocessor systems


I cant make my mind up on what to choose as i have to go in to detail on some of these and though i think that may be the easy bit i dont know what OS s to choose, so could i have some shouts from you people please and if possible a little reason why.

I think if you start by typing those into the google search engine you'd find you're spoilt for choice.
