    Hey guys,

Quick question, when would you guys consider using more than one DAG? Here's what I am thinking.

    1. For three or more sites I would think more than one DAG would be available
    2. Lagged copies of DB's in their own DAG
    3. Primary and secondary mailbox servers split into their own DAG when more than one datacenter.

However what would be the true benefit of having more than one DAG? More resiliency, HA, etc?

It looks like in an Active/Active type datacenter, multiple DAG should be deployed to allow failovers... I guess I answered my own question.

Cool - always good to try these things on your own network first! :)

Funny thing is, I've already done a few Exchange 2010 installation including ones with a DR site... but I never did an Active/Active install so I was just curious.. but I always figure things out in the end :)
