"Sideline" pc Jobs?

    I am wondering what people in the pc job industry do to make extra money outside of their 40-hour job? What opportunitites or options are there besides "fixing" pc's?

    You mean there is nothing else? I guess what I may be asking here is about other pc stuff that you can do maybe from home like Programming, designing websites e.t.c?

    I worked in a bar for a few years and now do door work for the same club, so every Saturday night i get completely away from computers and the money's not bad either.

    I'll tel you what, from the 6 people in our tech team myself and one other do Kung Fu and another does Jujtisu and the Manager Tae Kwon Do.... no-one messes with us... he he!!

    Giving out loads of Leaflets in Oxford Street....
    Web Design/computer fixing for friends/ex-bosses & charge them for it

    etc....

    What about selling things on Ebay or Amazon Market place?

    You be amazed the things people buy on Ebay!

    Such as a sprout for £100 when they could of gone to Tesco and bought a bag load for less than a £1

    Exactly, also working past 5 gives you the chance to reboot servers etc, if you do that during the day all then the users storm up to the IT Office asking what’s going on and why they can’t get their emails for 6 minutes!

    Also rebooting a server during the day can be a risk, if it doesn’t start up then it’s a problem!

    Affiliate marketing is a good one as well, if you've got the patience and prepared to put in a lot of time learning, researching etc. Just steer clear of get rich quick scams and have realistic expectations.
