Should I do the 701/702 or wait until August and do the 801/802?

Hi all,

The title says it all really, this will be my first round of Comptia exams and I am not sure if I should be doing the newer ones when they start in August. Do they cover the the older operating systems in the new test?

You can already sit the 801/802 exams. There is some questions in their about windows 8 but also covers windows 7.

You haven't started studying yet go for the newer ones, however if you've already started on the old ones stick at it if you think you can pass in time.

 

I agree with jvanassen on this one, if you have already began studying then stick at it, otherwise you may as well go for the latest revision.
