    Sharepoint users 'at risk'



    Companies making use of Microsoft SharePoint are failing to implement necessary security measures, according to new research.

    A survey conducted by Osterman Research on behalf of Trend Micro found that many SharePoint users are allowing personnel from outside their organisations use their systems, putting themselves at risk.

    According to the study, which quizzed firms in North America, France, Germany, Sweden and Britain, contractors make up 48 per cent of this group, with 20 per cent being customers.
