    Hi Guys,

How is everyone on this glorious Sunday?

I am trying to share an internet connection through my windows server 2003 with my private network but am having a little trouble. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good step by step procedure on how to set this up?

I've installed the 2nd network card but am having a bit of trouble getting my head around assigning the correct TCP/IP settings on each card, also do I leave the client machines set to 'obtain IP address automatically' any information would be much appreciated

    Hi Dan,
This link should help get you started.

    Windows 2003 NAT config link

I would start by unticking the option to enable security on the external interface while you test that it works, then, when you have it working and understand the setup, you can uninstall RRAS and set it up again with the security enabled.
