Anyone installed the final release yet? Had a look on my Action Pack sub but not there yet - got a big domain migration planned for late November and was thinking about going for Server 2016 to make it more difficult to migrate ;)

haha you're brave putting that in to a domain migration! :D

That said, we've also got a domain migration next year, i do need to build a new SCCM environment, but i don't see MS listing 2016 as supported for it just yet

Well it would be nice to use 2016, Nano server has plenty of use cases too, however with the minimal 2 socket 8 core per CPU licensing and when scaling up to the likes of 22 core CPU's, its something crazy like a 200% price increase over the existing 2 socket DC licensing of 2012

The only people to not be hit is anyone with SA on their server licensing, upgrade to 2016 and MS will match the core's, but only as a one
time upgrade.. good time to upgrade the server CPU's and then upgrade with your SA
