The Sybex book for 70-646 (server 2008 administrator, Darril Gibson) had quite a few errors in it.

There was errors on the practice CD exams too, but they were easily spotted as the answer explanation was correct but the answer letter was not.

I still used it to pass the exam though.

As this seems to be the only upto date book for the exam I think I will be getting it. I also have Minasi book, which always seem good but are not focused on the exam content / objectives

cool bout time we got some R2 material in print, is it just me or are the books getting more expensive these days. Now shall I book my server 2008 core req set on ebay now seeing as they'll just confuse the matter if I use them.

 

Not cheap but this is quite a large book though 1224 pages

Not bad deal compared to others if its fairly error free, as it covers 3 exams

 

Yes I guses so, its good value in that respect. Duly purchased! Must do these ones really as we are looking up upgrade to 2k8 shortly ish, (now where did I leave that can of spare time and box of motivation).

 

Got the book, must say I am a bit disappointed that it did not come with a pdf version of the book like they normally do.

 

Mines arrived back home but i'm in Berlin at the moment - will check it out when i get back
