Hi lads, basically iv got two network cards in my server and im trying to setup a VPN. but if i have one ethernet cable pluged into each network card i get no internet connection but if i take either one out i get a connection, but my main dilema is that for some reason server 2003 does not recognise the card although i can actually get internet with it hmmm... alos when im trying to setup a VPN connection it only detects the network card which is onboard not the one which i have added manually. Anyone got any ideas?? It wont allow me to setup a VPN as it states only one network card detected blah blah blah!

what is the make and model number of the NIC?
What version ok 2k3 server are you running?
What does it say in device manager when you select the non-working NIC?

    Fluid,

    Questions:
    1. What is connected to the other end of the patch cable connected to the onboard NIC?
    2. What is connected to the other end of the patch cable connected to the second NIC?
