selling stuff

    Has anyone had dealing with people whoclaim to want to buy their goods etc.

    Ill explain, ive been trying to sell my psp for a while now, im just bored of it and plus i want a ds lite. So i put anb ad in the lootand ive been getting people wanting mew to send my add details and also want to post it over to nigeria or africa etc and they will also pay extra for shipping etc.

    Just seems well dodgy to me , any experiences anyone :rolleyes:

    Some of these sound like well-known scams.

    Only accept *cash* for it!

    Most of the scams work by offering to pay over the odds with a 'company cheque', and some time later the cheque bounces and you lose the money.

    Harry is spot on - but same goes on eBay. This 'Nigeria' scam is rife at the mo.

    My BF tried selling his i300 a few weeks ago. It was finished with 'Buy It Now' but he was sent an email with a rather suspicious looking payment confirmation page from Paypal. Needless to say; fake. So if you try selling on other media like eBay, start using the 'buyer requirements' stipulation you can attach to your auctions.
