Securing IIS

Hey guys.

Not sure if this is the right place for something like this, but I've installed IIS 6 (im running server 2003 which is apparently v6) in order to install vmware server.

I'm aware that IIS is generally insecure by default. since i know nothing about this at present, could someone help me secure IIS down so that im not leaving my system exposed?
