Hi all,

I've got a second interview this week - just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for questions to ask the employer?

I have all the technical info from the first interview, and the people interviewing me are business heads rather than techies.

With any luck it will be how much are you paying me and when can I start but I better not count my chickens...

• How do you see the job developing over the next couple of years
• Do you think that I have the skills you are looking for?
• What is the next stage?

Thanks everyone, very satisfying to hand in my notice at my current place I must admit - over the last few months it's been hellish, redundancies, late salary payments etc.

How much are you paying me, how many holidays do I get and what's your sickness policy

Seriously, I just asked them what the business plans for the future were and how did they see the IT dept developing alongside those plans. It was actually very laid back, more a conversation than an interview - and I got a call about an hour later offering me the position.

3 months of hunting and a few rejections along the way but it paid off in the end - it's good to be looking forward to work again rather than waiting on the day the office will be shut down permanently.
