I'm currently studying for my 70-282 as part of gaining the SBS specialisation. Microsoft also requries that you pass their Sales and Marketing Assessment.

I can't find many details on this assessment apart from these three sentences on the MS Partner website:

This scenario-based sales skills assessment is designed to test your knowledge in selling Microsoft solutions within the small business market. You will be tested on how well you understand the dynamics and dependencies of the small business market, as well as the value to small business of several software solutions, including Windows XP Professional, Office 2003, Windows Small Business Server. You will also be tested on the Microsoft Genuine Windows Advantage program and the appropriate software licensing programs for the small business market.

    1. Has anyone taken this assessment?
    2. How is it structured?
    3. Is there a pass mark?
    4. If you fall below the standard, can you retake the exam?

    Thanks in advance.

You dont have to take it unless you want the MS partner points.

You take the exam online, if you fail you can take it again so no big deal. :biggrin

    What Sparky said is right.

It's just a load of marketing hype.. just answer as if Microsoft solutions are the best thing since sliced bread and that the customer needs them more than they need air to breathe and you will pass :)
