Safari 5.0

    Safari browser has decided it no longer wants to display images on a webpage?

    I have been using version 5.0 for quite some time on my XP workstation, gone through prefrences and cant see anything obvious?

    no...

    if you go to preferences then -> advanced tab -> proxies change settings button -> advanced tab

    under multimedia there is a show images checkbox

    did you uninstall the beta or rc before installing the final as recommend?

    sounds like something under the hood is borked.

    have you tried reinstalling?
