Run Windows Live Messenger in the taskbar

    As most will be aware that in Windows 7, Windows Live messenger runs from the taskbar. This may not bother many of you but i did prefer it to work the way it does in older OS's (from the notification area).....if you prefer the old way here is how you do it....

    You don't happen to know why it has to run in Vista compatiblity and not xp do you?
    As Xp has msn displayed the same as Vista?

    I just tried it in XP mode.....it seems to work ok

    Oh yeah - I had to Google this about thirty five seconds after installing Messenger on Win7 - I HATE the way it runs in the new taskbar as well :biggrin
